Highlights of the 19th National Scientific Conference of the Neuroscience Society of Nigeria

The 19th National Scientific Conference and Annual General Meeting of the Neuroscience Society of Nigeria took place on the 31st of July to 3rd of August, 2022 at the Sumbomi Balogun Conference Center at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

There was a Pre-Conference workshop on the 31st of July as well as a mentorship session with Prof. Amadi Ihunwo and Prof. James Olopade. The Scientific Conference was kicked of by an opening ceremony which also featured the award of the National Brain Bee finalist as well as the investiture of the NSN fellowship award to Prof. Amadi Ihunwo, Prof. James Olopade, Prof. Nuhu Danjuma, Prof Eme Osim and a Posthumous Fellowship Award in honor of late Prof Theresa Ekanem.

There were pleneray session lectures, oral and poster presentations, There were plenary lectures, oral and poster presentations, Movement Disorder Symposium, Women in Neuroscience Symposium and the Annual General Meeting The conference came to a close on the evening of the 2nd August, 2022 with a dinner/award party.
